The Show Must Go On

Last week, Tradeshow Week's quarterly report confirmed what many show organizers are already experiencing—there are fewer attendees and smaller exhibit halls this year.

So how about promoting Quality over Quantity? You still have expert speakers, exhibitors with the latest industry innovations, and attendees who need to run their businesses efficiently. Sell your constituencies on the idea that an exhibitor's lead list might not set any records for its length, but it will contain valuable contacts that really need their services. And attendees will have more one-on-one time with exhibitors, speakers and colleagues to learn about new products and trends they can use to strengthen their businesses. Everyone will form the strong business relationships they need and really, isn't that what tradeshows are all about?
