Bethesda, MD-based firm sponsors Run for 9-1-1 5K run/walk

Bethesda, MD—January 4, 2011— Integrated marketing communications firm, Frost Miller Group (FMG) is an official sponsor of Run for 9-1-1 Run/Walk, an Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International event, in January 2012.

A timed 5K run/walk, Run for 9-1-1 benefits emergency responders in Volusia County, Fl. The event is scheduled for Saturday, January 14, 2012 in Port Orange, Fl. The run/walk gives Volusia County residents a chance to meet the heroes of their area and show local first responders the community support.

“This particular event merges APCO’s and our shared community service goals and we are happy to support it,” said Kevin Miller, president of FMG.

Frost Miller Group has worked with APCO for four years and promotes the association’s tradeshows and events, maintains and designs websites, creates collateral and digital marketing pieces for membership and training, and provided PR and social media services. Most recently, FMG completed a rebranding for APCO and is currently developing a new website for the association.
